Pieter works alone and is currently filming a series of documentaries and experimental films that focus on landscape, time, memory, and the practice of filmmaking itself.
For a living, he messes around in one of the oldest cinemas in Holland (Luxor Theater), where he works as chief technician and projectionist with digital, 35mm, 16mm, and 8mm formats. He is also an occasional projectionist at the Esker Film Society in Zwolle, mainly working with analogue film.
