MasterLAV
MASTER.LAV is a unique program in its experimental approach and in its pursuit of expanding the boundaries of audiovisual language.
The Master is structured through continuous workshops and practical exercises, complemented by the artistic projects and ambitions of the participants, whose processes and progress are shared and discussed collectively in the classroom.
Following the practices of trial and error, and echoing Baldessari’s idea that art is born from mistakes and that through them we can reach unexpected places—roads that are unmarked—we do not believe in rigid methods, but rather in personal procedures and processes adapted to each idea, aimed at broadening horizons and creating new ways of thinking and making.
One of the Master’s guiding principles is fostering analytical skills, critical thinking, and artistic commitment in participants. We want them to take ownership of the classroom, to embrace constant experimentation, and to take seriously the task of creating images and sounds in the contemporary context.
