sin título (año pasado)
Blanca García, 3mins, 2020

A film about sadness, consolation, and light dances. Part of the “sin título” series —one roll, in camera edit, filmed in less than 24h.

''Writer, researcher, occasional filmmaker. My films have been previously shown in spaces and festivals such as Xcèntric (Barcelona), CBA (Madrid), VideoEx (Zürich), Fracto (Berlin), MoMI (New York), or S8 Mostra de Cinema Periférico (A Coruña). For years I lived and worked in Barcelona, where I curated and presented films and talks in collaboration with Xcèntric, Filmoteca de Catalunya, Zumzeig, Birdie Num Num, Crater or L'Alternativa. I am an ongoing collaborator of Revista y Asociación Lumière, which I co-edited between 2015-2017. My writings on film have also been published in outlets such as Walden, Artefacto Visual, Caiman or So-Film Spain.
In 2019 I graduated from Central Saint Martins' MRes Art: Moving Image course, and my super 8 practice is an extension of some of my research interests — mainly the implications of reversal film's indexicality, and the interactions between visual and verbal poetics through in-camera edit.''
